The purpose of the Venturing Officers Association (VOA) is to provide support and guidance to maintaining and growing the Venturing program within the Northeast Iowa Council.

The VOA is comprised of 2 members from each Venturing Crew within the council as well as the Venturing Officers Cabinet (Venturing President and two Vice Presidents). VOA meetings are held in January, March, May, July, September and November. The July meeting is the annual Venturing Officers Association Annual Assembly, where the Venturing Crew members elect the members of the Venturing Officers Cabinet for the next year.
